Hail from a music loving family. My late mother used to sing well and I took after her. My children, siblings and cousins all have a taste for music and some are talented singers too. I have been singing since my schooling days. Continued to indulge in this passion in college and took to the stage in some small clubs. Have won many prizes in competitions by the grace of God. Singing is a pastime. Do regularly sing on occasions involving family members and close friends. Languages sung are Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil. The Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar is my favourite singer. Enjoy singing her film songs. My namesake, P. Sushila is another favourite singer and enjoy singing selected old tamil songs of hers. I listen to all types of songs - slow and fast numbers but preference for singing is old melodious slow songs. Will be singing mostly capellas - without the support of background music or instruments. Songs have no commercial value and are uploaded only out of pure passion and an interest to share.
