This one is a lovely female duet composed in Punjabi folk by O.P. Nayyar and penned by Sahir Ludhiyanvi that was sung by Aasha Bhosle and Shamshad Begum for a Village Natak in the film where Aasha sings for the girl acting as a boy, teasing the village girl who is singing Shamshad Begum's voice. The summary of the song is very simple "Go away, don't chase me. Why are you looking for ways at getting locked up in jail".

I thought to why not prepare a cover in my voice for the male part and ask Hema to sing female parts. She has sung it beautifully by bringing in a swing to the rhythm. What I liked the most was the way she took a deflection at "Ki Main Ne" in the repetition of the second line "Bade Badon Ki Main Ne Kar Di Hai Aisee Taisee". This was something which was totally her own and not in the original but made a very good sense. Beautifully executed Punjabi style lyrics in Urdu where Shalwar & Kurta have been replaced by Salwar & KuDta. Had it been Male and Female characters in the film, I am sure Rafi would have sung in it. Please have a listen I am sure you will enjoy our cover.
