Don't be surprised friends, once in a while I sing new songs too. When Venkat suggested this song I wasn't so sure if I really like this song or not. I had only heard it once before and other than Dum Daraa part rest seem to be nice from listening point of view but not to try to sing it too. Then after a few weeks Venkat sent me his vocals and after listening to him I became motivated to try it. So I learnt, practiced and recorded in one sitting but it took two days to mix it. I would again like to repeat what I said on Muziboo that Venkat is one hell of a smart singer who is not just good with singing but knows what it takes to experiment and record good vocals. I sincerely feel blessed to have sung with some very good singers from our group in the past and now with him too. The chorus part that he has sang and recorded is very good and blended so well with the track. I was asked to cover the female part. This was among one difficult projects for me from the mixing side...some singing too...LoL. I had to not only sing exactly over the female vocal reflections but also had to adjust my vocals to linger almost as long as the female ending trails. Some I could fix but one or two still seem slightly out. Since this is only a cover I let it go like that. Hope friends enjoy this duet cover from us.
