The Firangees is a music project conceived by Music Composer / Programmer Atin Dasgupta and writer Qais Jaunpuri. Our aim right from the very beginning was to create a fresh new sound in the Hindi popular music soundscape – a sound that is distinct, catchy, fun and accessible with influences ranging from First Wave Jamaican Ska, American Polka to 80′s Euro Pop.
